Acted as Independent Safety Advisers and Auditors (ISAs) for safety critical software in naval applications. Work included advising on migration between different versions of Defence Standard 00-56. Issues addressed included integrity of data, changes to compilers, production of overall safety arguments, including supporting "proven in use" arguments in the presence of controlled change to the system and software.
